Luxor is the most important destination of the Southern Egypt, lying on the Nile Valley. Both the town itself and its surroundings offer an impressive collection of historic sites. Two massive temples stand as architectural masterpieces on the same side of the Nile as the modern city - Temple of Karnak and Temple of Luxor. Take some time to explore three large and unique vestiges of the ancient Egyptian Civilization: The Valley of the Kings, with the famous King Tutankhamen's grave among others, the beautifully decorated graves in the Valley of Queens and the Tombs of the Noble. Another legendary name, the one of King Ramses, is preserved through big statues at the Colossi of Memnon and the Luxor Temple.
Located in the interesting landscape of the Sinai peninsula, Sharm el-Sheik is one of the best Arabic tourist destinations. This former fishing village quickly developed into a modern place resort satisfying practically every taste.
