Definitely recommend. We booked a vacation to Lisbon and Madrid to celebrate my 30th birthday (I know, lucky girl). Through this site we came across a flight that also had a 9 hour layover in Amsterdam, thus adding another city to our itinerary. Everything was beautiful and easy. There were no unforeseen charges (baggage, hotels, etc.) and all bookings were better than expected. My recommendation is that you do thorough research on your hotel. We bypassed the recommended hotel and actually downgraded for Madrid (to Hotel Sterling). Despite its mere 2 stars, it was very clean and centrally located (which was all we really cared about). We got a room on the 2nd floor (the only floor with balconies) and it was very charming (overlooking people coming in and out of the 24-hour convenience store downstairs by the metro station). The hotel even provides, and almost forces you to accept, free iPads for use during your stay (which was very helpful for checking email and local spots). This may not be ideal for those looking for a luxury hotel with amenities, but for those who forego laying around in favor of exploring the city. For me, it`s all about location, comfort and cleanliness. If in Madrid, Hotel Moderno seems to be in an even better location for the price. We stayed at Travel Park in Lisbon and really enjoyed it as well. I would definitely book another trip on EuropeanDestinations. For $1200 in May/June 2012 we got an amazing trip to Lisbon, Madrid and a bit of Amsterdam. Quite a happy birthday IMHO! Suzanne M
